Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports as young as 14. She studied kickboxing, boxing as well as wrestling, before making her first appearance in amateur competition at WCFC in front of Jaimee Nievera. Ladd became more confident after the win and fought 3 fights at Ultimate Reno Combat. Her opponents all fell in the 1st round. Then, she went to WCFC to win again, beating Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen was first beaten by Silvia Babyghian prior to going to take on Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9 in which she took on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia outclassed Aspen and beat her in a unanimous decision to put a blemish on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd rebounded from the loss and defeated Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight-one. Aspen began her career in 2015, signing with Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta 11 saw her slay Ana Carolina Vidal to score a TKO in the first round. Invicta Combat Championships 16, She won her next bout against Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission via armbar. Aspen employed the strong abilities she acquired in wrestling to beat McGill. Aspen ended her fight via an KO (3rd round) (elbows and punches). Aspen then faced Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. Aspen fought Hoy as the catchweight (138.1lb) due to the fact that Ladd did not weigh in. Aspen still dominated Hoy and was able to knock her out in the second round by TKO. Invicta FC 21, she took her victory in the final bout of the promotion by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC at UFC Fight Night 118, against Lina Langsberg. She outclassed Lina by pound-for-pound, and took the TKO round at the end of the second. Then, in her third fight she beat Tonya Evinger more convincingly. Ladd stopped Evinger's fight after the first round. Also, she was awarded the bonus for performance of evening. She fought her first big fight in her debut fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. The two fights were an intense fight which Ladd won by unanimous decision. Both fighters received the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd within 16 seconds, breaking her losing streak. Yana Knitskaya in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's final round, was defeated by Randamie. As a last-minute replacement for her UFC match, she faced Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. She was beaten by a majority verdict.
