Singer was born on the 26th of November 1986, in Santa Monica California United States of America. The singer is the child of father Vincenzo Barba and mother Valerie Barba. The family moved from Point Pleasant New Jersey when she was 6 years old. Red Bank Catholic High School was where she completed her formal education at the time in New Jersey. She continued her education at Catholic University where she earned a bachelor of architecture. She also began playing the violin from when she was four years old and was referred to as Violin Girl.
