
Suzanne Pleshette was an American voice actor, actress, film and television star born on January 31 1937, died on January 19, 2008. Pleshette began her acting career in the theatre and she appeared in films during the latter half of the 1950s. She was later featured in a number of notable films, including Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963), or Spirited Away (192001). Later, she appeared in various television shows and was often a guest actor. She was Emily Hartley in The Bob Newhart Show, from 1972 until 1978, where she received several Emmy Award nominations. Pleshette, a daughter of Geraldine (nee Kaplan),[1 and Eugene Pleshette, was born on the 31st of January 1937 in Brooklyn Heights. The parents of the couple were Jewish immigrants from Russia and Austria-Hungary. Her mother was a dancer, artist , and choreographer who performed under the stage name of Geraldine Rivers. Her father was a stage manager of the Paramount Theater in Manhattan and the Paramount Theater in Brooklyn,
