
American actor Thomas William Selleck. His most notable role was that of Thomas Magnum, a private investigator in the television series Magnum, P.I. (1980-1988) and for which he received five nominations for the Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead actor in a Drama Series. He won the award in 1985. From 2010 until 2010 Selleck has played the role of New York City Police Chief Frank Reagan.
